Stephanie Pauls returns to UCF for her first year as a student assistant coach. Here is a look at some of her career highlights.
2006-07: Rowed sixth seat on the national ranked varsity eight...went undefeated in the first nine races of the spring as the crew earned a season-high national ranking of No. 9...opened the season by beating Iowa, Kansas State, Duke and Texas at the Longhorn Invitational...also earned victories over Duke and No. 7 Virginia in dual competition at Charlottesville, Va....beat No. 14 Washington State and No. 8 UCLA at the Windermere Real Estate Classic...captured the SIRA Championship title in the varsity eight...competed for UCF at the NCAA Championship...named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association South Region second team.
Prior to UCF: Attended Eastern Michigan...rowed for the Eagles[apos] varsity squad for three seasons...placed fifth in the varsity eight at the Dad Vail in 2005...also claimed the titles at the Lubbers Cup and Harvey Cup two consecutive seasons...graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary in 2003...a member of the rowing team...earned the Coaches Award all four years...won two silvers and one bronze at Canadian Schoolboy in junior women[apos]s eight and senior women[apos]s heavy...joined Ridley Grad Boat Club...won two golds at the 2005 Canadian Henley...also won a silver in Senior 'B' women[apos]s single race.
