2006-07: Started the fall with the varsity eight crew before moving into the second varsity eight in the spring...defeated Iowa, Kansas State, Duke and Texas at the Longhorn Invitational...won the second varsity eight event at the Petrakis Cup...beat Duke in the dual races at Virginia...finishe fourth in the petite finals at the Aramark South/Central Spritns...took the served as an alternate for the varsity eight at the NCAA Championships.
2005-06: Rowed second seat in the varsity eight that earned a top-20 national ranking...took fourth in the championship eight at the Head of the Hooch...placed second in the varsity eight at the Governor[apos]s Cup...won the varsity eight race at the Petrakis Cup...beat Clemson and North Carolina...claimed the varsity eight title at the FIRA State Championship...took fifth in the varsity eight 'B' final at the Aramark South/Central Sprints...took fifth place with the lightweight eight at the IRA Championship...named team captain for the 2006-07 season.
2004-05: Was the stroke of the lightweight eight...picked up gold medals at the Rollins Invitational, Petrakis Cup and FIRA Championship...finished second at the Rollins Regatta and SIRA Championship...earned fourth at the San Diego Crew Classic and Dad Vail and fifth at the Head of the Hooch...was a member of the lightweight eight that placed first in the petite final at the IRA Championship...received most valuable lightweight award...named lightweight team captain.
2003-04: Rowed with the lightweight eight...won the gold medal in the two-seat at the Head of the Hooch...took third place in the six seat at the San Diego Crew Classic...finished second in the junior varsity eight event at the FIRA Championship...claimed another bronze in the lightweight eight at the Dad Vail before taking sixth at the IRA Championship.Prior to UCF: Graduated from Edgewater High School in 2003...a four-year letterwinner in rowing...twice named most valuable athlete...captained the team as a senior...also earned two letters in volleyball.Personal: Born in Ocean Springs, Miss....daughter of Robert and Debbie Capers...major is education.
