Coach Erwin on Masteller... 'Andy is a great kid who is a just scratching the surface of what he can become as a soccer player. Although he stands 6-5, he is very nimble and has good feet for a player of his stature. As a member of the Chicago Magic, coach John Hannon began to teach Andy how to be the impact player that he can be.'
2006... Appeared in 16 matches, starting five...Tied for second on UCF with six points on a goal and a team-high four assists...Registered assists in back-to-back games against North Florida and Wright State...Recorded an assist on Zak Boggs[apos] goal at Kentucky...Scored his first collegiate goal, the game-winner, and added an assist against Marshall in the regular season finale.
Prior To UCF... Led his Andrean High School team in goal scoring all four years, while topping the conference his final two seasons...Scored a school record 28 goals in his senior season...Also holds the record for most goals scored in a single match with six...Finished his AHS career second all time in goals (71) and second all time in points (170)...Four-time all-conference honoree, earning first-team honors during his last three years...Twice selected first-team all-area and first-team all-district...Recognized as one of the national players to watch as a senior...Also earned all-state honors that year...Played for the Chicago Magic Club that was consistently ranked in the national top 10...Team was also U17 state cup champion and Midwest Regional League Champions.
