-Saw game action in all 14 games, with starts at right tackle vs. Marshall (10/27), SMU (11/3), UTEP (11/10), Tulsa (11/17), UAB (11/24), the C-USA Championship (12/1) and the Beef [apos]O[apos] Brady[apos]s Bowl (12/21)
PRIOR TO UCF
-Enrolled at UCF for his final season of college football after spending his prior collegiate career at Georgia Tech
-Was a two-year starter for the Yellow Jackets in 2010 and 2011
-Played in 33-career games prior to 2012, including 20 starts
-As a redshirt junior in 2011, played 10 games (starting eight) while Georgia Tech put together an 8-5 season record
-During that 2011 campaign, Georgia Tech had the No. 18 total offense and the No. 2 rushing offense
-In 2010, also played in 10 games and started eight times at right tackle
-Missed three games with nagging injuries
-Beat out a returning senior starter for the job in 2010
-Enjoyed a solid redshirt freshman season in Tech[apos]s ACC championship season of 2009, beginning that year as a top back-up at tackle before starting three games late in the season
-Started four games overall as a freshman
-Helped the Georgia Tech offense lead the nation in rushing offense in 2009
-Suffered a season-ending injury in the ACC Championship Game vs. Clemson and did not play in the FedEx Orange Bowl
-Earned All-ACC Freshman Team honors in 2009

High School
-While at Jesuit, earned all-county honors in 2007 as an offensive lineman
-Selected to the All-Hillsborough County Second Team
-Earned all-state honors by the FSWA as an offensive tackle
-Recorded six sacks on the defensive line as a junior
-Earned two varsity letters in football at defensive end, offensive tackle and tight end
-Rated as the No. 56 offensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com
-Also earned two letters in basketball as an imposing center
-Served one year as captain of the basketball team
-Recorded a triple-double as a sophomore with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocked shots against Berkeley Prep
-Selected for the student council as a senior
-Originally chose Georgia Tech over Penn State and several other schools
