Josh Robinson Season 2011

Josh Robinson was selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft by Minnesota, and immediately began seeing playing time for the Vikings when the 2012 season kicked off.

JUNIOR SEASON (2011):
-Voted onto the All-C-USA First Team
-Earned a spot on Phil Steele[apos]s All-C-USA First Team
-Started all 12 games at CB and recorded 48 tackles (34 solo), 15 passes broken up, and two interceptions with one returned for a touchdown
-Returned seven punts for 51 yards, and four kickoffs for 94 yards
-Charleston Southern 9/3: Recorded one INT that was returned 32 yards for a touchdown
-Boston College 9/10: Recorded four tackles (three solo) with PBU
-At FIU 9/17: Recorded two tackles (one solo) and two PBU[apos]s
-At BYU 9/23: Collected three tackles (three solo) with two PBU[apos]s and one INT
-Marshall 10/8: Recorded one tackle (one solo) with one PBU
-At SMU 10/15: Had six tackles (four solo) with one PBU
-At UAB 10/20: Recorded four tackles (two solo)
-Memphis 10/29: Recorded two tackles (two solo)
-Tulsa 11/3: Had a season-high eight tackles (six solo) with a break-up
-At Southern Miss 11/12: Forced a fumble, had a PBU and three solo tackles
-At East Carolina 11/19: Tied a season-high with eight tackles (five solo), and broke up two passes
-UTEP 11/25: Amassed three break-ups with seven tackles

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2010):
-All-Conference USA First Team on defense and honorable mention on special teams
-Started 13 games at CB and recorded 59 tackles (45 solo), 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, 13 pass break-ups and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown
-Ranked ninth in the nation by averaging 15.20 yards per punt return, and finished with 304 yards on 20 returns
-South Dakota 9/4: Recorded five tackles (five solo)
-At Buffalo 9/18: Recorded four tackles and three PBU[apos]s
-At Kansas State 9/25: Recorded three tackles and three PBU[apos]s
-UAB 10/6: Recorded one tackle, one PBU and recovered a fumble 56 yards for a touchdown
-At Marshall 10/13: Recorded two tackles (two solo) and had a PBU
-Rice 10/23: Recorded six tackles (three solo)
-ECU 10/30: Recorded 11 tackles (eight solo)
-At Houston 11/5: Recorded five tackles (two solo) and a PBU
-Southern Miss 11/13: Recorded five tackles (three solo) a PBU and recorded his first interception of the season
-SMU 12/4: Recorded seven tackles (six solo), an interception and two PBU[apos]s
-Georgia 12/31: Recorded four tackles and a PBU and held superstar wide-out AJ Green to only 77 yards on the day while keeping him out of the endzone

TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2009):
-Appeared in all 13 games with 11 starts at CB and recorded 69 tackles (59 solo) with one tackle for loss, eight passes broken up, six interceptions, and one fumble recovery
-Named to the 2009 All-C-USA Second Team and C-USA All-Freshman Team
-At Southern Miss 9/12: Registered 11 tackles (10 solo)
-Buffalo 9/19: First-career start and recorded six tackles (five solo)
-At ECU 9/26: Added nine solo tackles and a pass break-up
-Memphis 10/3: Had first-career interception
-At Rice 10/24: Returned an interception 24 yards for first-career touchdown
-At Texas 11/7: Finished the game with six tackles (five solo) and an interception
-At UAB 11/28: Posted six tackles (five solo) and an interception

HIGH SCHOOL:
-Played for Plantation High School and coach Steve Davis
-Recorded 18 receptions for 364 yards during an injury-filled senior year
-Posted 15 catches for 286 yards and two touchdowns as a junior, while also rushing for 136 yards and amassing three touchdowns on kick returns
-Selected for the Dade-Broward All-Star Game
-Also recruited by Michigan, Auburn, Clemson and USF
