-Enrolled for the spring semester at UCF
-Coached by Brad Smiley at Trinity Valley Community College (Texas)
-Ranked as the No. 12 offensive guard among junior-college players by 247Sports
-All-Southwest Junior College Honorable Mention in 2015
-Blocked for the league's Most Valuable Player in quarterback Jerod Evans
-Team went 7-3 with a trip to the SWJC Football Conference regional playoffs
-Originally signed with Arkansas State as part of its 2014 class
-Played for Midway High School
-Ranked with three stars by 247Sports and ESPN out of high school
-Earned Associated Press All-State honors and was a unanimous selection to the All-District 8-5A Team
-Competed in the National Underclassmen All-American Game in South Carolina
-Named to the Waco Tribune 2013 Super Centex First Team, and was ranked No. 4 on the paper's Top 25 prospects in Central Texas chart
