ORLANDO – The UCF men’s basketball team has added Villanova transfer Kris Parker to its 2025-26 roster, head coach Johnny Dawkins announced Tuesday.
Hailing from Tallahassee, Fla., Parker appeared in 27 games for the Wildcats this past season. He played in all 11 non-conference games, 12 conference matchups, and four postseason contests, averaging 10.0 minutes per game. His season was highlighted by a career-high 11 points on Nov. 8, 2024—a mark he later matched on Jan. 4, 2025, in a 100–56 win over DePaul, where he shot 4-of-5 from the field.
The six-foot-nine guard saw postseason action as Villanova competed in the inaugural College Basketball Crown, eventually facing the Knights in the semifinals. Parker appeared in every game until the Wildcats were eliminated by the Black and Gold in a 104-98 overtime loss. In the first-round matchup against Colorado, he logged 14 minutes, contributing five points and two assists. He also went 75.0% from the free-throw line.
Before beginning his college career, Parker starred at Crossroad Academy, averaging 24.8 points and 14.2 rebounds per game as a senior. The former three-star recruit led his team to a 2A District 1 title and earned 2023 Florida Class 2A Player of the Year honors.
A rising sophomore, Parker redshirted his freshman year at Alabama before transferring to Villanova.
