Women's Golf Heads to the Lonestar State

ORLANDO- The Knights head to Dallas, Texas to make their first appearance in the Veritex Bank Collegiate, hosted by SMU. The tournament will be held Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8 at Trinity Forest Golf Club.

Tee times will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Monday and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Knights are set to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on​ Tuesday.

The Black and Gold will compete against Boston College, East Texas A&M, Incarnate Word, #26 Houston, Iowa, Lamar, #28 Oklahoma State, SMU (Host), Tarleton State, Texas A&M -Corpus Christi, Texas Tech, Texas at Arlington, Tulsa, and Yale.

This prestigious private club was founded in 2014 and is most known for hosting the PGA Tour’s AT&T Byron Nelson tournament in 2018 and 2019. The championship course was designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw. Since its opening in 2016, SMU has also called Trinity Forest home.

UCF’s lineup will feature Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham, Molly Smith, Katie Poots, Jamie Camero, Mila Jurine and One Kashima (individual).

The individual champion will receive a tournament exemption into an Annika All Pro Tour event this summer.
