ORLANDO -  In cooperation with the Big 12 Conference, the UCF volleyball team has released its 2025 conference schedule. Headlined by nine home games and nine road matches, the Knights’ conference slate is set to feature six 2024 NCAA tournament competitors, hosting one program for the first time and traveling to one new destination as the program begins its third year in Big 12 competition.

The Black and Gold’s schedule matrix splits their 15 Big 12 opponents into three groups: a set of five teams the Knights will host exclusively in Orlando, five programs faced solely on the road, and four opponents they will meet in both home and away contests.

The Black and Gold’s home opponents for the 2025 season are Baylor, Cincinnati, TCU, West Virginia, Arizona, Texas Tech, Houston, Iowa State and Arizona State, facing Colorado, BYU, Utah, Kansas State and Kansas in road-exclusive games. The Knights will square off with Cincinnati, West Virginia, Houston, and Iowa State twice, once in a road match and then again on their home court.

The Knights open Big 12 play with a duo of home matches, first, welcoming Baylor for the first time since 2010 for a midweek matchup on Tuesday, Sept. 16. The team will then host Cincinnati on Sept. 24 for their first of two games this season and 29th overall meeting.

UCF will start October out west, taking a trip to Boulder for the first time since 2007 to face Colorado on Oct. 2, followed by the program’s inaugural visit to Ames, where they will play Iowa State on Saturday, Oct. 4.

The Black and Gold then return to Orlando for a three-game homestand, beginning with TCU on Oct. 9, followed by a showdown with West Virginia on Sunday, Oct. 12. Arizona, a first-time visitor to The City Beautiful, will wrap up the trio of home games with a Friday match on Oct. 17.

UCF will then meet long-time opponent Houston on the road for their first of two games this season, marking its 17th trip to Houston and the programs’ 32nd overall meeting, before making a quick trip back home, to dual with yet another Lone Star State rival, Texas Tech, for a weekend match on Saturday, Oct. 25

The Knights will wrap up the month in Utah, where they play BYU on Oct. 29, followed by a Halloween showdown against Utah on the 31st. The journey out to the Beehive State will mark UCF’s first visit to Provo since 2004 and unlock Salt Lake City as a new destination for the program.

November kicks off with a two-game home swing for the Black and Gold, welcoming repeat foes, Houston and Iowa State, to be played on Nov. 6 and Nov. 8, respectively.

The Knights then embark on a two-game road stint starting in Ohio, to go toe-to-toe with Cincinnati for the second of two meetings with the Bearcats on Nov. 12. The squad then moves on to Morgantown, W. Va., where they will reunite with Mountaineers inside WVU Coliseum for a Friday face-off on Nov. 14.

UCF wraps up the home slate and celebrates its seniors on Nov. 19, against Arizona State in the Sun Devils' first trip to Orlando since 1997, and just their third overall meeting.

The Knights’ regular season will wrap up in Kansas, making their first stop in Manhattan on Nov. 26 to face Kansas State, who they defeated in their 2024 home season finale on Nov. 20 in a five-set showdown. UCF concludes the season in Lawrence on Saturday, Nov. 29, as UCF will square off against the Kansas Jayhawks in their sole meeting of the season.

UCF's non-conference schedule will be announced this summer.
