HOCKLEY, Texas – The UCF women’s golf team sits in eighth place following the second round of play at the Big 12 Championship at Houston Oaks Golf Club.
The Knights suffered from the Wednesday woes as they dropped three spots in the leaderboard with a round two score of 303 (+19).
Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham turned in a solid performance to jump seven spots in the player leaderboard with a 71 (E). The junior started the day on hole No. 10 and proceeded to go bogey-free through the back nine, carding a birdie on hole No. 18, the streak continued through hole No. 5.
Molly Smith tallied a 73 (+2) in the second round to stay in 18th place. The sophomore recorded four birdies on the day.
Jamie Camero notched a 79 (+8) on the day and is in 50th place. Meanwhile, Mila Jurine scored an 80 (+9) and carded two birdies tp put her in 52nd place in the player leaderboard.
One Kashima rounded out the Knights lineup with a 90 (+19) and is in 67th place.
The Knights will tee off on hole No. 1 at 9:00 a.m. for the third and final round of the Big 12 Championship on Thursday, April 17.
