ORLANDO - The UCF women's golf team made a significant leap in the second round of the PDI Intercollegiate on Monday, climbing six spots with a team score of 276 (-12).
Mila Jurine led the Knights, finishing the round tied for 7th place with a score of 67 (-5), posting an impressive seven birdies to climb the leaderboard. Jurine's 67 ranks as her best 18-hole performance this season.
Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham and One Kashima continued their steady play, each carding a 70 (-2) in the second round. Sisutham tallied five birdies on the day while Kashima carded four. Both players are in the top 25 with Kashima at T15 and Sisutham at T23.
Katie Poots also made strides, posting a 69 (-3) to tie for 39th place.
Molly Smith ended the second round with a 73(+1) to tie for 58th place.
Competing as individuals, Jamie Camero and Caroline Nemes showcased strong performances. Camero recorded a 70 (-2), while Nemes shot a 80 (+8).
The Knights tee off in the final round of the PDI Intercollegiate on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 8:45 a.m., aiming to continue their upward momentum.
