Women's Golf Concludes Strong Weekend Tied for Fourth at the PDI Intercollegiate

ORLANDO - The UCF women’s golf team opened its spring tournament play with a top-five finish at the PDI Intercollegiate. The Knights ended the tournament tied for fourth with a team score of 841 (-23).

Freshman Mila Jurine led the Black and Gold carding a 71 (-1) on the final day of play to end the tournament at 209 (-7). Jurine’s third round featured three birdies to finish tied at 11th. 

Pimpisa “Sandwich” Sisutham finished second lowest for the Knights, also tallying three birdies in the final round to record a 69 (-3) to end the tournament T17 with a final score of 210 (-6).

One Kashima wrapped up the third day with a one-under 71 to tie for 22nd place. The sophomore counted four birdies on the day. 

Molly Smith rounded out the final day of play with a 70 (-2) to finish T43 with a total score of 215 (-1).

Katie Poots finished the tournament tied for 51st place, carding a 75 (+3) in the final round. 

Competing as individuals, Jamie Camero tied for 22nd with a total score of 211 (-5), and Caroline Nemes ended the third day of play with 223 (+7), tying for 72nd.

The Knights will continue spring play by heading to Melbourne, Florida, for the annual Moongolf Invitational from Feb. 16-18.
