Men's Soccer Adds Clement Gouin

ORLANDO - The UCF men's soccer team has added a new player in Clément Gouin to their 2022 roster. He hails from Caen, France and will be one of eight midfielders on the squad for the season.

Gouin graduated from Jeanne D'Arc High School in 2021 and is transferring in from Collége Jean Moulin of his hometown of Caen. Gouin previously played in the Fourth Tier in the French League.

A total of 11 freshmen join the Knights this season. Two goalkeepers, three defenders, two midfielders and four forwards make up the 11 rookies of the Black and Gold. The four remaining newcomers were transfers from other universities around the country, with three coming from the ACC (Raphael Crivello, Pittsburgh; Zane Bubb, Virginia Tech; AJ Seals, NC State) and one from the Pac-12 (Ousmane Ba, Oregon State). Gouin brings UCF's newcomer total to 15 for this season and is the third player from France, all of which are also new in 2022.
