Orlando, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – After a hard-fought loss at home this past weekend, the UCF Knights (6-5, 4-3 The American) are preparing to take on the USF Bulls (9-2, 6-1 The American) in Tampa this Saturday. The match is scheduled for noon on the CBS Sports Network.

This is the final regular-season game for both teams with the winner earning crucial points in the War on I-4 rivalry series and secruing the inaugural football trophy. UCF currently leads the series 15 to 9 and are looking to add more to the total this weekend.

In addition to the hoisting the iconic I-4 road sign trophy, the winner of the game will receive six points toward the ultimate goal of capturing the season-long trophy to display on campus the following year.

Head coach Scott Frost cited the "War On I-4" as a great opportunity for the team to showcase its toughness and to finish out the season strong.

"I think it's a natural rivalry. It's good for both programs and both universities. We're looking forward to playing the game and I think there is extra motivation when you're playing someone down the road from you." Frost said. "We're something special here [at UCF] and we're going to battle our butts off to try to win this game on Saturday."

For redshirt Junior Tony Guerad this rivalry game is a great way for the team to rebound from the loss against Tulsa with a renewed energy.

"We have to bounce back and not think about the loss from last week and just move forward," Guerad said. "This is a rivalry game everybody wants to win this game."
