PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (UCFAthletics.com) - The No. 18 UCF track and field team concluded its outdoor regular season on a high note by witnessing several season-best performances and a freshman record fall as the team split time between the Penn Relays and Memphis Invitational on Saturday.

In UCF's final day at the Penn Relays, senior Jackie Coward clocked 13.34 in the Championship of America 100 hurdles finals for third place, crossing the finish line ahead of Illinois' Jesica Ejesieme, Texas Tech's Precious Nwokey and LSU's Shanekia Hall, who all rank among this year's NCAA top 25.

Coward also ran anchor for the 4x400 relay along with Afia Charles, Sonnisha Williams and Christal Peterson, who churned out a season-best time of 3:42.11.

Meanwhile in Tennessee, UCF's throws and pole vault crew represented the Black and Gold at the Memphis Invitational.

Freshman Precious Ogunleye smashed the UCF freshman shot put record with a third-place finish of 14.86m/48-9. Her personal best throw is the best performance by a rookie Knight in five years. Sophomore Destinee Romain posted a season-best mark in the event with a showing of 39.06m/128-02.

Junior Erica Weiss earned her second gold medal of the season with a first-place mark of 3.63m/11-10.75 in the pole vault.

Satrina Oliveira topped her personal best in the hammer with a toss of 46.24m/151-8 for sixth place. Ogunleye was the Knights' top finisher in the event in fourth place with a mark of 48.76m/160-0.

Up next, the Knights will travel to New Orleans, La., May 11-13 looking to claim their third-straight Conference USA Outdoor championship.
