ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Already having been selected to the All-Conference USA First Team by the league's head coaches in 2010 and 2011, UCF junior cornerback Josh Robinson was named to Phil Steele's All-C-USA First Team Wednesday. Robinson was one of five Knights who received postseason honors by the publication.

Joining Robinson was senior offensive lineman Nick Pieschel who grabbed a spot on the second team, and junior defensive lineman Troy Davis, junior linebacker Jonathan Davis and freshman kick returner Rannell Hall who all were tagged to the third team.

Robinson registered two interceptions and 15 pass break-ups in 2011, which tied for the second-most in UCF single-season history. The Sunrise native already has 36 break-ups for his career, as he needs just two more to tie Asante Samuel for the school's all-time record.

Pieschel started the final 11 games of the year at right tackle on the offensive line, paving the way for UCF to average 406.8 yards per game, marking the second-highest average since 2002. The Knights also rushed for 27 touchdowns, the fourth-highest total in UCF history.

Troy Davis finished 2011 strong, amassing four sacks in the final three contests of the year. He finished with 29 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks and a forced fumble. Jonathan Davis completed his first year on the UCF defense with a team-high 10.5 tackles for loss. After serving as a running back in 2010, he also posted 3.0 sacks and 44 tackles. And Hall was voted onto the All-C-USA First Team by the league's coaches after he ranked in the top-10 in the nation with a 31.0 kickoff-return average. The true freshman had 23 returns for 714 yards, and was the only freshman on either the first or second team.
