When UCF (4-3, 2-2 C-USA) has the ball
The Knights will play host to conference opponent Marshall this Sunday evening in a prime time ESPN special. UCF is coming off a 49-7 lopsided victory over conference opponent Rice. Quarterback Brett Hodges has done a superb job of orchestrating the Knights' offense. Hodges has completed 97-of-165 passes for 1216 yards and eight touchdowns. Wide receivers Rocky Ross (21 catches, 251 yards, two touchdowns), Jamar Newsome (20 catches, 249 yards, three touchdowns), A.J. Guyton (18 catches, 296 yards, one touchdown) and Kamar Aiken (13 catches, 269 yards, three touchdowns) have done well in getting open for Hodges, and creating big plays for the Knights. Brynn Harvey has been a work horse for the Black and Gold backfield. Harvey has rushed 152 times for 632 yards and six touchdowns. He is averaging 90.3 yards per game, and 4.2 yards per carry.

When Marshall (5-3, 3-1 C-USA) has the ball
The Thundering Herd is coming off a 27-7 victory over conference opponent UAB. Marshall quarterback Brian Anderson has completed 139-of-232 passes for 1427 yards on the season. He's is averaging 178.4 passing yards per game and also added seven touchdown passes. Anderson will look to a few of his favorite targets on Sunday night. Wide receiver Cody Slate is averaging 62.8 receiving yards per game. He has 43 receptions for 502 yards and three touchdowns. Anderson will also look to wide receivers Antavio Wilson (26 catches, 328 yards, two touchdowns) and Chuck Walker (24 catches, 279 yards, two touchdowns). The Herd's rushing attack is led by running back Darius Marshall. Marshall has rushed for 952 yards on 168 carries. He has also added 10 touchdowns and is averaging 136 rushing yards per game. Marshall's numbers have solidified him a spot as the number two ranked running back in FBS through 8 games.
