UCF FOOTBALL POSTGAME NOTES

TEAM NOTES
- Next fall, the Knights will return the players who accounted for 100-percent of their rushing, passing and receiving yards.
- UAB led 3-0 at the end of the first quarter today. UCF had led after the first 15 minutes in each of the last four games.
- UCF forced UAB to punt on its opening drive. The Knights have held their opponents scoreless on their opening drive in 11 out of 12 games this year and 14 of the last 15 overall.
- The Knights were shut out for the first time since a 42-0 loss at Florida Sept. 9, 2006. Meanwhile, it was just the second time UCF was shut out at home (3-0 loss vs. Presbyterian, Sept. 12, 1981).
- The loss is UCF's first ever against UAB in six meetings. The Knights now lead the series 5-1.
- UCF drops to 20-10 all-time on Senior Day.
- Seven different Knights caught a pass today, the most since Sept. 27 at UTEP.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
- Joe Burnett finishes the year with 102.2 all-purpose yards per game despite having no rushing or receiving yards. Since 2000, only two other players in the nation have finished in the Top 100 nationally in all-purpose yardage with no offensive gains.
- With four TFLs today, Bruce Miller finishes the year with a team-high 17 which ties for the seventh most in UCF history (Tarveres Tate also had 17 in 1996).
- Quarterback Joe Weatherford finished 12-for-26 with a career-high 99 yards.
- As usual, UCF started Joe Burnett, Johnell Neal, Sha'reff Rashad and Jason Venson as its secondary. The quartet started a total of 183 games for UCF and intercepted a combined 50 passes.
- Pat Brown started his 50th-consecutive game today at left tackle, missing only the first game of his career (Sept. 1, 2005 at South Carolina).
- The five field goals by Swayze Waters are the most ever against UCF.
