UCF Set for UNF, Stetson Doubleheader

ORLANDO, Fla. – The UCF men's tennis team is set to host North Florida and Stetson for a doubleheader on Friday, March 11, in Orlando, Florida from the USTA National Campus
 
Both matches will have live stats and be live streamed.
 
The Knights opened the season with a tough schedule, facing nine ranked teams, including four in the top ten.
 
Last time out, UCF nearly swept Florida Gulf Coast, winning with a score of 6-1, but fell to No. 18 Michigan just days after the Wolverines took down No. 1 TCU.
 
The Knights have proved their strength in doubles throughout the season and it shows in the new ITA rankings as two additional tandems are ranked alongside the top duo of No. 37 Lleyton Cronje and Bogdan Pavel. Jumping into the scene is No. 56 Trey Hilderbrand and Cooper White while Lleyton Cronje and Cooper White also earned a No. 60 ranking after taking down the nation's No. 1 duo of Ohio State.
 
THE FIELD
THE OSPREYS
No. 68 North Florida is 8-4 on the season and will come to Orlando on a six-match win streak.
 
One Osprey is ranked in singles with Dominik Barton earning a No. 66 ranking.
 
The Ospreys lead the all-time series, 9-8, over the Knights but UCF has won the last four matchups, including two sweeps in 2021.
 
THE HATTERS
Stetson is 6-4 on the season and 1-4 when on the road. The Hatters are on a two match-win streak after their last two matches were suspended due to weather or canceled.
 
UCF dominates the all-time series over Stetson, 26-8, and have not lost to the Hatters since 2008.
