Knights Sign Jess Baker

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – On Wednesday, the UCF women's golf Head Coach Emily Marron announced the signing of Jess Baker to a national letter-of-intent.

Currently on the English Girls National Team, Baker competed in the 2018 and 2019 British Junior Girls Amateur Championship and made the match play cut both years. She also placed third in the English Girls' Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship with two 66 (-6) rounds and a final four-round score of 285 (-3).

"We are thrilled to add Jess to our team next year!" Said Head Coach Emily Marron on the addition of Jess Baker. "She is a tough competitor with a true passion for the game. This past summer she gained some valuable experience competing at a high level in Europe playing for the National Team. Jess is a natural talent with a tremendous work ethic. I am confident she will step right into our lineup next year and have an immediate impact on our program. "

Baker will be a freshman at UCF beginning in the fall of 2020.
