EDITORS NOTE: Aisha Patrick's blog, Patty's Place 10, gives Knight fans an inside look at the UCF women's basketball program, both on and off the court. Hailing from nearby Rockledge, Patrick has started all but one game in her career with the Knights and helped her team to the 2009 Conference USA Tournament championship. Twice snubbed from the C-USA All-Defensive Team, the team's shutdown defender will use the below space to sound off on all things about herself and the UCF women's basketball program as they prepare to pursue another championship in 2010-11.

Hello Knight Fans,
It is Patty and I'm back to give you the scoop on our team. Finals are finally over and the Knights are going their separate ways and heading to their hometowns for part of the summer. During finals week, we buckled down with our school work and hit the books to ensure our grades were as high as they could be this semester. We spent a lot of time in study hall and visiting our teachers so we were as prepared as possible when exam time rolled around.
On behalf of all of my teammates, I want to say congratulations to my teammates Chelsie Wiley and Jessica Hall, who earned degrees this past weekend. We are all proud of you! Check out pics of Chelsie in her cap and gown!!! (No worries, Chelsie will be back to play with us for one more season)
As far as basketball is concerned, we were able to squeeze in some pickup games and a few workouts in the weight room whil finishing up finals and before we left campus.
As for me, I am currently in nearby Rockledge with my family, visiting my old school and giving back to my community. While I am here and taking some time away from my studies, I'll definitely be working on my game as well and make sure I return to school better than when I left it.
Mother's day has just passed and I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to my mom, all of the mothers of my teammates and all of the other mothers out there.
Until next time Knight fans, Patty ;)
