ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The Graduation Success Rates for 2013-14 were released by the NCAA on Tuesday, examining the proportion of student-athletes who earn a college degree. The UCF volleyball team stands among the best in the nation, posting a 100 percent overall GSR, well above the national average of 91 percent.
The Knights are one of just two American Athletic Conference volleyball programs with a 100 GSR, joining Memphis at the top. One of seven programs in the state of Florida that earned the perfect rate, UCF posted a higher rate than that of Florida (89 percent) and USF (88 percent).
The report includes student-athletes who first enrolled in 2007. UCF hit 100 percent for the first time since 1998 and saw an increase of seven points from last year's GSR.
UCF's Academic Progress Rate was announced in May, and the Knights posted a perfect single-year score of 1000 for the second consecutive year. Additionally, UCF saw 13 team members earn all-conference academic honors earlier this fall.
UCF Volleyball is presented by Radisson- UCF Area. For more information on how to purchase tickets, visit UCFKnights.com or call 407-UCF-1000.
