UCF's contest with the Phoenix (2-2) marks the first time the two programs will meet. Elon comes into the match with an even 2-2 record after sweeping Navy at the Kristen Dickmann Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md. In its most recent match, Elon earned a home sweep over Campbell.

George Washington arrives in Florida with a 1-2 mark after the Colonials dropped a pair of matches to Maryland and Ole Miss at their host tournament. UCF currently holds a 1-0 lead in the all-time series, with the first matchup coming in just the Knights' fourth season of volleyball in 1978.
