ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - UCF head volleyball coach Todd Dagenais announced changes to his coaching and support staff Monday.

Jeff Rotondo has been named volunteer assistant coach while former player Dani Harrison has been hired as director of volleyball operations. In addition, Joe Howard has been put in charge of the Knights' strength and conditioning program.

Rotondo joins UCF after a successful three-year coaching stint with USA Volleyball's High Performance Program. Rotondo also brings an additional 15 years of experience at the Division II, high school and club levels.

We have been very fortunate to have such a strong track record of developing our volunteer assistants," Dagenais said. "Many of them have moved on to become head and assistant coaches all over the country. Jeff is highly motivated to develop his coaching skills and gain experience in the collegiate world. His drive and passion is going to carry him very far. He is a fantastic family man, and he has sacrificed a lot by moving away from them to gain this experience. I have very high expectations of Jeff, and I know he is going to do a superior job because his heart is in the right place. I'm going to give him a ton of responsibility right away, and I'm looking forward to seeing those results.

Handling the day-to-day operations on Dagenais' staff will be Harrison. Harrison will help monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, assist with the organization of team travel, help manage the program's budget, coordinate community service initiatives and provide support to the direction of UCF's camps.

It's always a special privilege anytime we can move a former player into an administrative or coaching role," Dagenais said. "Dani has been such an important part of UCF Volleyball for the past 4 years, now she will have the opportunity to contribute to our success in a completely different manner. She will assume the day to day operational tasks of travel, administrative paperwork, marketing, community relations, and budgeting. I have complete and total trust in her ability to help manage our program.

Harrison ended her playing career with 121 matches played, good for a top 15 spot in the Knights' career record book, 877 digs and 80 service aces.
