ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - Fans eager to get an inside scoop on the UCF volleyball team can now follow the squad and head coach Todd Dagenais on Twitter.
The newest way to get information in an instant, Twitter is a free online social network that allows users to send and read updates called tweets. Tweets can be received on a user's cell phone via text or on the web.
UCF Athletics Twitter pages are updated with breaking news, scores, behind-the-scenes insight and promotions, while Dagenais' Twitter page will give fans V.I.P information on the daily happenings of the Knights. Twitter allows instant feedback and comments from UCF fans.
The Knights posted a 15-17 overall record last fall, its best mark since 2003, and matched its best Conference USA record, going 6-10 in the fifth-toughest volleyball conference in the nation.
