Heppert Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - Junior Jenny Heppert of the UCF volleyball team was named to the 2007 Conference USA All-Academic Team league officials announced Thursday. The all-academic team consists of student-athletes that have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on the volleyball team.

A biology major, Heppert has a 4.0 cumulative grade point average and has started 30 matches for the Knights this season.

Heppert currently ranks third on UCF's career list with .43 service aces/game, seventh with 216 block assists, eighth with 260 total blocks and ties for 10th with 112 service aces.

The junior also ranks first on her team this season in blocks (117), solo blocks (21), block assists (96) and service aces.

This is Heppert's first career selection to the C-USA All-Academic Team.
