ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) – UCF Athletics will be celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a pair of events in the coming weeks.
One of the events in recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be a free children’s sports clinic featuring numerous UCF coaches and student-athletes on Sunday, Feb. 3. The clinic is open to children in eighth grade or below and will take place at The Venue at UCF, which is located directly to the north of CFE Arena. The Knights will also host the UCF Women in Sports Breakfast on Jan. 31 at the Country Club of Orlando. The event will take place from 7:30-9:15 a.m. Registration, coffee and networking will be held from 7:30-8 a.m., with the program and breakfast running from 8-9:15 a.m.
The event will include coach and student-athlete representation from UCF Athletics’ women’s programs. The accomplishments of Knight women will be recognized and a panel discussion including head coaches and student-athletes will be held.
Table sponsorships are available for $325 and include seven tickets to the event. Each table will also include two UCF Athletics representatives (coach, student-athlete or administrator). In addition, table sponsors will also receive seven tickets to the Feb. 3 UCF-USF War On I-4 women’s basketball game.
Single tickets are available for $40, which also includes a ticket to the UCF-USF women’s basketball game set for 1 p.m. on Feb. 3.
Sponsorships of the UCF Women in Sports Breakfast are also available. UCF Athletics is seeking both a presenting sponsor and gold-level sponsors.
