ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - The UCF women's basketball team will tip off its final week of regular season home games this Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Houston on ESPN3.

The Knights are looking for a sweep of the Cougars for the second-straight year. UCF enters the game having won the last five meetings over Houston. Moreover, the Knights own a 4-2 record in home games since beginning this series in 2006.

UCF's 64-50 win over Houston in December marked the team's first road win of 2014. In that meeting, Yanique Gordon (17 pts, 12 reb) and Fifi Ndour (10 pts, 13 reb) each secured their first double-doubles of the year. It marked the first time that two Knights have recorded a double-double in the same conference game since UCF joined the American.

Tuesday's matchup will feature sharpshooting guards in Houston junior Alecia Smith and UCF sophomore Zykira Lewis. Both rank among their respective program's top-10 career 3-point leaders with 110 treys apiece.

First-year Houston head coach Ronald Hughey makes his return to CFE Arena after serving as the Knights' recruiting coordinator during the 2008-09 season. Along with UCF head coach Joi Williams, Hughey helped guide the Knights to one of the most exciting runs in program history, as they were able to win four games in four days to claim the Conference USA Tournament crown and the school's third NCAA Tournament berth.

Houston has not won a game since Jan. 3 against SMU. Tuesday will mark the team's final road contest of the regular season. Jessieka Palmer leads the team in scoring with 9.5 points per game.
