ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) - The UCF women's basketball team will play future BIG EAST foe Louisville in the first round of the 2012 Puerto Vallarta Hardwood Tournament of Hope, Basketball Organizer Plan BC3, LLC announced recently.
The Knights and Cardinals will square off for the first time in program history in Mexico on Nov. 20. Louisville made its 15th appearance in the NCAA Tournament last season, earning its seventh berth in the last eight years.
The three-day event will feature each team playing three games and will conclude with the championship on Nov. 22 at 8:30 p.m. The official tournament bracket with matchups, dates and times was also released and can be found at the top of the release.
Games will be played at the new state-of-the-art Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center. Tournament resorts will be at the newly renovated Hard Rock Vallarta resort and the newly opened Occidental Hotel.

Proceeds from this tournament will be used to raise awareness, support and research for the National Urea Cycle Disorder Foundation to "Cure UCD."
