ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - After a seven-game homestand, UCF travels to No. 11 Florida State on Tuesday to start a two-game series at 6 p.m. The first for Wednesday's finale is set for 4 p.m. at Dick Howser Stadium.

The matchup for game one has been finalized with junior righty Juan Pimentel (0-3, 6.75 ERA, 14 K) going up against FSU lefty Tyler Holton (0-2, 3.94 EAR, 20 K). Neither team has determined a starter for Wednesday's contest.
The Knights are coming off a series victory against Brown as sophomore Cre Finfrock and junior Robby Howell provided quality starts in the first two games. Junior Eli Putnam delivered the eventual game-winning hit on Friday night, 2-0, in the eighth inning, while a three-run blast by junior Ryan Crile in the same frame lifted UCF on Saturday, 6-4.
Florida State (15-5, 5-1 ACC) is coming off a 2-1 series win at Pittsburgh after opening conference play with a sweep of Georgia Tech. The Seminoles have also notched wins over Rhode Island, College of Charleston, Villanova, St. John's, USF and Toledo.
In its final preparation for play in The American, UCF returns home on Friday to face Cornell at 6:30 p.m. The start on Saturday is slated for 4 p.m., while the final game of the series begins at 1 p.m.
