ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - For the first time in two years, the UCF volleyball team will play in the postseason. After accepting an at-large bid for the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC), the Knights (19-13, 12-8) travel to Athens, Ga., and the University of Georgia for a first-round matchup with UNC Greensboro on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Admission is free to the match at Ramsey Student Center. On the other side of the bracket, the host Bulldogs will face Alabama A&M in the nightcap at 7 p.m. The winners of the two matches will faceoff on Wednesday night.

"We don't really know a whole lot about UNC Greensboro," head coach Todd Dagenais said. "There's just not a lot of film out there recently. What I do know is that they fight and scrap on defense. They're very much like a Tulsa. Those teams can frustrate us when they pull off some spectacular digs, but we just have to be relentless on the attack. In the meantime, we have to do things to slow down their offense. It's going to be a good challenge for us. We're going to the floor knowing that we have to attack."
