Why did you choose UCF?
EO: I chose UCF because of the opportunities that it presented not only in volleyball, but in life. Also, because UCF has so much to do on not only on campus, but also around the area as well.
How do you want people to remember you at UCF?
EO: I want people at UCF to remember me as a hard worker because to me that is one of the most important and highly sought after characteristics in a person.
What is your favorite thing about campus?
EO: My favorite thing about campus has to be it's location. It's an hour away from beaches, which I take full advantage of on off days considering I am from the Midwest.
What is your best UCF memory?
EO: My best UCF memory so far are game nights with my teammates. They are always a good time full of laughter and extremely competitive people. We tried to play basketball once... lets just say it's a good thing we chose volleyball.
What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?
EO: Something that people might be surprised to know about me is that I eat and write with my left hand, but when it comes to anything athletic, like hitting or throwing, I am right handed.
What are your career aspirations?
EO: My career goal is to become a Physical Therapist. I want to be able to help people, specifically athletes, come backs from injuries because I have been in their shoes and know what it feels like to be sidelined due to an injury.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
EO: In my spare time, I love to spend my time reading. I will read almost anything. I find it so relaxing letting my imagination take flight and seeing what I am reading take life.
What is your favorite sport other than volleyball?
EO: My favorite sport other than volleyball has to be softball. Both of my parents are softball coaches, so I pretty much grew up out on the field. I was in love with the sport, when I was little (before I started playing volleyball), I used to dream of competing for Team USA at the Olympics.
What other sports did you play growing up?
EO: I was tossed into any and everything as a kid, so I was in gymnastics, basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. I am definitely what you call a gym rat because you could never keep me off the field or out of the gym. I am never happier than when I am competing. DON'T MISS OUT
