Why did you choose UCF?
TW: I chose UCF Because I love the campus, I Love the school. I saw what this program was trying to build, and I wanted to be a part of what it's become.
Why did you pick your jersey number?
TW: I was two for most of my life. My sister and I had the same jersey number. I changed club teams when I was younger, but someone was already two. I picked 12 because it still had a two in it.
When and why did you start playing volleyball?
TW: I started playing volleyball when I was eight years old. I played because a bunch of my basketball teammates were playing it, so I joined their team.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
TW: I like to hang out with my friends and have a lot of game nights. I'm a big reader and enjoy watching Netflix.
What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?
TW: I grew eight inches when I was in high school. I was 5-8 as a freshman and graduated at 6-4.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
TW: My dad always likes to say 'hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.' That's been my motivation that if you work hard enough you can accomplish what you want to accomplish.
What is your favorite sport other than volleyball?
TW: I love watching baseball.
How do your friends describe you?
TW: My friends would describe me as pretty quiet until you get to know me, but I can be pretty sarcastic.
What is your favorite UCF memory?
TW: I think it has to be when we won conference and went to the NCAA Tournament. I grew up watching it, so it was incredible to be a part of it.
