ORLANDO, Fla. ( – The UCF baseball team will play six games this fall, head coach Greg Lovelady announced on Monday. In addition to the annual Black & Gold World Series, the Knights will take part in a trio of games against outside competition.

The Black and Gold will host a pair of teams at John Euliano Park. UCF will open its fall slate on Sept. 30 against Seminole State, before facing St. Leo on Oct. 12. Both games will have free admission.

The Knights will head to Disney’s Wide World of Sports on Sunday, Oct. 7, to face the Canadian Junior National Team.

Legislation passed in the spring by the NCAA permits two out-of-season exhibitions, and existing regulations allow competition against foreign teams. The fall schedule will not count against UCF’s 56-game slate in the spring.

UCF will close out the fall with the Black & Gold World Series with three games on Oct. 25-27 at John Euliano Park.
