ORLANDO, Fla. ( - The UCF baseball team continues its 10-game homestand this weekend with Central Michigan beginning Friday night at 6:30 and Saturday at 4. On Sunday, the Knights will close the three-day series with a 1 p.m. matinee.

It will be the first time Central Michigan and the Knights (6-7) have met on the diamond since 2010 when the Chippewas (4-8) swept a nonconference weekend series in Orlando. Overall, UCF holds a 7-3 all-time advantage in the series that began in 1985.

Due to events at CFE Arena on both Friday night and Sunday afternoon, Garage F parking will be a cash lot. Refer to the UCF Baseball Parking Map Get Acrobat Reader for the latest parking information.

Friday night's matchup between junior pitchers Eric Skoglund (1-0, 2.08 ERA) and CMU's Jordan Foley (1-2, 2.79 ERA) will pit two quality arms against each other. Skoglund is one of just 43 pitches in the country that has three quality starts (at least 6 IP with 3 ER or less allowed) in his first three outings this season. Foley earned Mid-American Conference West Division Pitcher of the Week honors after allowing just two hits and one earned run over seven innings in a win against Troy.

On Saturday, junior RHP Spencer Davis will look to get things going again after he went just 4.1 innings against Ole Miss. The Woodlands, Texas, native is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA in three starts so far in 2014. Davis will be pitted against senior Pat Kaminska, who threw his second career complete-game shutout in a 5-0 win over St. Bonaventure at the Snowbird Baseball Classic last Saturday.

The weekend-series finale is set for a 1 p.m. first pitch. Freshman Nick Deeg (0-0, 7.53 ERA) will square off with a to-be-determined pitcher for the Knights.

As always, each home contest this weekend can be seen live via UCF All-Access. Audio coverage will be provided the entire weekend by Bryan Levine.
