ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men's soccer team's spring season is underway having already played two of their six scheduled matches.

The spring slate started with a matchup against the U18 United States Men's National Team at the UCF Soccer Stadium where UCF went down early, 2-0, but battled back to take a 3-2 lead thanks to a trio of goals from Gorka Aperribay. The U18 USMNT knotted the score, 3-3, late in the second half to end the match with a draw.

The Knights took on Eastern Florida on Feb. 23 at the UCF Soccer Stadium where Aperribay had another three-goal game pushing the Knights past the Titans, 4-1, with Cal Jennings netting a goal for the fourth.

Up next for UCF is a closed match against Orlando City SC of the MLS held at the Sylvan Lake Training Complex on Sunday, March 4 at 11 a.m.
