Tickets are on sale for potential NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional tournament games that the No. 13 UCF baseball team could host.
Knights fans will find out Sunday, May 27, if UCF will host a Baseball Regional. The NCAA will name the 16 teams that will host tournament games at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN's Bottom Line. The entire field for the tournament will be announced at noon Monday, May 28, on ESPNU.
If UCF is selected as a regional host site, the Knights and three other teams would play games June 1 to 4 at the UCF baseball complex. The eight sites for Super Regional best-of-three matchups June 8 to 11 will be announced following the completion of regional play.
All-Tournament Passes on Sale
All-tournament passes for potential NCAA Baseball Regional and Super Regional tournaments at UCF are on sale through the UCF Athletics Ticket Office. Regional all-tournament passes cost $75 for chairback seating (section 100), $60 for reserved bleachers (sections 101-111 and 203-213) and $50 for general admission areas (outfield berms and standing room; also the outfield deck if it is not reserved).
Super Regional all-tournament passes are $40 for chairback seating, $30 for reserved bleachers and $21 for general-admission seating.
2012 UCF baseball reserved seat season ticket holders may purchase their current seats through the priority order deadline of 6 p.m. on Friday, May 25. Orders from other parties received through May 25 would be filled on a priority basis, with preference given to current baseball season ticketholders and Golden Knights Club members.
Ticket books may be purchased in person at the baseball ticket office during the Rice series through May 19, at the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at Bright House Networks Stadium between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling the ticket office at 407-823-1000 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. You also can fill out a ticket order form and mail or fax it to the UCF Athletics Ticket Office.
2012 baseball season reserved seat ticketholders can also order their seats online at www.UCFAthletics.com. The public would be able to go online to purchase their seats starting Monday, May 28. Orders before then should be placed in person or by calling the UCF Athletics Ticket Office.
Those ordering all-tournament passes would only be charged if UCF is announced as a tournament host for the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Please note that there are no refunds once an order has been submitted.
All sections in the upper and lower grandstands (100-111 and 203-213) would be sold on a reserved-seat basis for both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. General-admission seating is located on the grass berms down the first- and third-base lines and in the outfield deck (unless it is reserved). Standing room is also available for general admission ticket buyers.
Not all seats would be available through the UCF Athletics Ticket Office. For either tournament played at UCF, some tickets would be provided to the visiting teams.
UCF students must purchase tickets for admission to both the Regional and Super Regional tournaments. Students would receive discounts only for single-game tickets, and they must show a valid ID at the time of purchase.
Postseason Ticket Delivery and Pick-Up
Due to the short time frame involved, no tickets would be mailed. Customers ordering all-tournament passes would be given a print-at-home option, or they could pick up their tickets at the UCF Athletics Ticket Office at Bright House Networks Stadium during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday) starting May 30. Tickets also would be available at the UCF baseball complex will-call area on game days. Those planning to pick up their tickets on the first day of the tournament should plan on arriving early.
Single Game Tickets
Single-game tickets, if available, for a Regional or Super Regional would go on sale a day or two prior to tournament play starting. Ticket prices and on-sale dates would be released after UCF is selected as a host site.
