ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) - UCF Softball assistant coaches Hillary Barrow and Tiffany Patteson will lead their teams in the first of three games in the Black and Gold World Series at the UCF Softball Complex on Tuesday.
Coach Barrow will lead the Black Team, which features the 2014 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, senior Farrah Sullivan, and senior pitcher Mackenzie Audas. Coach Patteson's team includes The American First Team junior pitcher Shelby Turnier, along with sophomore Linnea Goodman.
The first game will get underway at 10 a.m., with Game Two slated for a 10 a.m. start on Wednesday. Sunday's game will be a winner-take-all contest that will start at 2 p.m.
Prior to Sunday's game, the Knights will host the UCF Softball Fan Fest. Members of the softball team will be available for autographs and fans can enjoy games and prizes leading up to the first pitch.
