UCF to be Featured on ESPNU

ORLANDO, Fla, (UCFKnights.com) – The UCF men’s soccer team will be featured on ESPNU for an American Athletic Conference matchup between the Knights and UConn.

The Friday, Oct. 12 duel has been moved to a 4 p.m. kickoff at the UCF Soccer Complex.

UCF (5-2-1) has been dominant at home with a 2-1-1 record. At home, the Knights are averaging 1.75 goals per game and outscoring their opponents, 7-4.

UCF continues to control possession of the ball averaging just over 19 shots per game with .451 shots on goal percentage.

So far this season, UConn is 4-2-1 and winless on the road. Last year with the Huskies, UCF knocked UConn out of the first round of The American Championships, shutting them out, 1-0.

The ESPNU schedule features more than 650 live events (regular-season and championships) annually.
