Baines was part of a UCF defense that held opponents to just 226 shots, 91 shots on goal and 28 goals. She was named C-USA's Defensive Player of the Year after holding conference teams to just 82 shots, 34 shots on goal and six goals.
Pelarigo paced the Golden Knights in goals (14), points (32) and shots (106). Among C-USA players, she led the conference in shots, was second in shots per game (4.82) and fourth in goals.
Both Baines and Pelarigo were C-USA First Team All-Conference selections, while Pelarigo earned a spot on the C-USA All-Tournament Team.
Florida State led the state with six players on the team, while UCF had the two and Florida, Miami and Florida Atlantic each had one.
The Golden Knights ended the 2005 season 12-10 and 8-1 in Conference USA play.
