Las Chivas de Guadelahara has won 12 championships in its history. Los Rojiblancos may feature stars such as Carlos Salcido, Rodolfo Pizarro, and Alan Pulido. Guadalajara's recent year's success includes winning the Liga MX Clausura 2017 and Copa MX Clausura 2017, becoming the first team to win Liga and Copa in the same season since the return of Copa MX in 2012. Chivas also recently won the CONCACHAMPIONS vs Toronto FC in a very exciting game, which will allow Chivas to participate in the Clubs World Cup. Atletico Nacional is currently battling in the semi-finals in an effort to add to its 16 Colombian championships, 2 MercoNorte titles, 2 Copa Libertadores and 1 conmebol "Recopa." Atletico Nacional is bringing its first team to Orlando and will give Chivas a chance to even the score from the last meeting between these two squads in New York.
