The Knights had a stroke of luck fall their way when Darriel Mack fumbled into the end zone, only for Micahel Colubiale to pounce on loose ball for a touchdown.

Head coach Josh Heupel went with a little trickery to get the Knights back within two scores, as Mack found Jake Hescock on the jump pass from four yards out.

The Knights struck quickly to open the third when Mack connected with Otis Anderson on a 54-yard strike to cut the deficit to 10.
