Jamie Davies joined the UCF Men's Soccer coaching staff in January 2018. Davies comes to UCF after four seasons as an assistant coach at Georgia State and an Academy Coach with Atlanta United USSDA U16 Team.

Davies was the top assistant coach at Georgia State. He brought a wealth of playing and coaching experience at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. At Atlanta United he was in charge of regional scouting for the Academy while Head Coach of the U16 Group.

In 2017, Davies helped lead the Panthers to a runner-up finish in both the Sun Belt regular season and tournament championship. Georgia State had the No. 1 scoring offense in the Sun Belt and ranked No. 28 in the nation. In 2016, Georgia State reached the conference tournament final, outscored its opponents 42-25, leading the Sun Belt and ranking No. 11 in the nation.

In 2015, the program ranked in the final Top 10 NSCAA Southeast Region and advanced to the championship match of the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers ranked in the top five in the NCAA in scoring (2.28 goals per match). He helped four GSU players earn All-Sun Belt honors with Eddie Wilding also earning All-Region. In his first year at GSU, Davies helped the team finish in second place in the conference with four players earning All-Sun Belt recognition, along with Stephen McGill earning All-Region.

Prior to his time at Georgia State, Davies spent four years at Division II Limestone (Gaffney, S.C.), where he helped develop the Saints into one of the better offenses in the country. Limestone won back-to-back Conference Carolinas regular-season and tournament championships in 2012 and 2013 and finished with a combined 28-9-1 overall record and a 15-2-1 mark in league play. The Saints were nationally-ranked both years, including a No. 21 ranking in the NSCAA/Continental Tire Division II poll in 2013 after reaching the NCAA tournament.

Before his time at Limestone, Davies spent four seasons in the Premier Development League (PDL) with the New Orleans Jesters and the West Virginia Chaos. He earned PDL Team of the Week honors twice with the Jesters before returning to school to earn a master's of business administration in entrepreneurship.

Davies served as a Graduate Assistant coach at the University of Rio Grande (Ohio) and during his tenure with the Red Storm, the team reached the NAIA final four twice and finished as the NAIA national runner-up with a 20-4-1 final record in 2008. Davies then returned to the PDL to play one season with the Chaos in 2008. In his second season with West Virginia, he took over as the assistant coach and helped guide the team to a franchise best record in 2009.

Davies holds a USSF National "B" License. Davies played college soccer at NAIA member William Woods and graduated in 2007 with a degree in sports management and a minor in business. He was named academic all-conference following his freshman and sophomore campaigns.

A native of London, England, Davies played for Crystal Palace F.C. and Leyton Orient F.C. at the youth level.
