Schweim joins the Knights after one year at an Associate Athletic Trainer at the University of Georgia. While with the Bulldogs, he worked exclusively with the men's basketball program. Prior to that Schweim spent three years as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Florida, working directly with the Gator football program.

Prior to his most recent time at Florida, Schweim served three years -- the first two as a Graduate Assistant and the latter as a full-time Assistant Trainer in the athletics program at Ohio State University. He worked primarily with the Buckeyes' football and men's tennis teams.

Upon graduating from Florida, Schweim served a one-year internship as an Intern Athletic Trainer with the Gators' men's basketball team. During that time he worked with UCF Head Men's Basketball Coach Donnie Jones, who was then an assistant coach at Florida, and the Gators went on to win the NCAA championship.

Schweim is married to the former Emily Mills of Plant City, Fla.
