Originally from Pueblo Colorado, Ed Woodley attended Colorado State University-Pueblo from 1999-2004 and earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in athletic training. During his undergraduate work, he interned with The United States Air Force Academy.
Woodley attended the University of Florida as an intern from 2004-2005, working with football and men's tennis. He attended grad school at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2006-2008, while also working as a graduate assistant covering football, track & field, and softball. Woodley worked as an intern athletic trainer for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008 before coming to UCF.
He is an ATC- and Florida-licensed athletic trainer. He is full-body and nerve release certified in Active Release Technique. He is also NASM performance enhancement Specialist certified. Woodley enjoys playing basketball, football, golf and traveling.
