Michelle Stenger was named Director of Discovery and Advertising at UCF in
Stenger came to UCF after a stint with the University of Illinois Athletics Marketing and Promotions Department. With the Illini, she was hired as a digital strategist in April of 2015. Stenger came to Champaign after three-plus years of experience with the Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Cincinnati athletics department.
During her time with the Cincinnati athletics department, Stenger served as an assistant/associate director of marketing and strategic communications. Her primary roles included group sales to local youth sports teams, day-to-day management of the GoBearcats official social media accounts, supervision of the Bearcats Marketing Academy student internship program, coordination of Bearcat mascot appearances, and sport-specific marketing efforts for the football, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's soccer and women's lacrosse teams.
Prior to working at Cincinnati, Stenger worked as a ticket sales representative for the Cincinnati Bengals. She sold single-game, mini-packs, and season tickets to Bengals fans and focused on providing excellent customer service to those fans who called
Stenger earned her bachelor's degree in business (marketing) with a minor in interactive media studies from Miami University (Ohio) in 2012. She earned a master of science degree in advertising through the University of Illinois in 2017.
